Update on events and exciting news!

by Daryn Goodwin

We have been patiently waiting for California to re-open to be able to host the NARCh FINALS.  Once the rinks can open and have games according to Government Guidelines, we will have an event IMMEDIATELY.  (2-3 weeks from re-opening announcement).  This could happen 2 weeks from now, or 2 months, we’re exhausted trying to speculate.  Covid-19 cases have improved dramatically in California and most businesses have re-opened, so we are hoping this announcement is coming soon and we can have this tournament before the end of 2020.

In the meantime, we have scheduled events in states that are open and we’re going to leave 2020 on a high note with some great NARCh Hockey.

  • Nov 20th-22nd – Las Vegas Hockey Center, NV (18u, men’s, women’s) – Pacific Cup
  • Dec 4th-6th – The Barn, AZ (8u-16u) – Pacific Cup
  • Dec 11th-13th – Hotshots, PA - NARCh East Coast Invitational
  • Dec 18th-20th – Legends Family Sports, CO – Christmas Cup
  • Jan 15th-18th – Irvine/Corona, CA – NARCh Winternationals

We are also excited to announce that we’re bringing back Pacific Cup.  Pacific Cup was originally hugely instrumental in growing the sport in California and the surrounding states for over a decade, and we feel it’s a great time to bring it back.  The series will provide more opportunities for teams to play quality opponents in professionally ran events.  We believe the series will keep teams more engaged in the sport, get more players and parents excited about the sport, and ultimately help grow the sport.

We cannot come out with set dates for California Tournaments until the facilities can return to game play, but we are going to get things going in other states and wanted to make sure this is on your team’s radar if you live on the West Coast.

Registration will open on all of the listed events next week and more specific information on Pacific Cup will also be available.  We expect many of these tournaments to fill very quickly, especially the single rink facilities.

Thank you for your patience and understanding through these very difficult times.  We hope to see you at a tournament soon!
