Tournament Update heading into 2021!
There’s at least some hope and optimism that we can get back to a more normal tournament schedule in 2021, but the first few months of the year are still going to be a bit turbulent do to Covid-19. Here’s the current update on events.
Jan 8th-10th – The Colorado Event is being moved back a month to February 5th-7th and renamed Rocky Mountain Cup!
Jan 15th-18th – MLK Weekend has always been used to host Winternationals. With California still closed to youth sports, we are still going to have a great tournament at the Tucson Indoor Sports Arena in Arizona. With only one rink, this Pacific Cup Tournament will max out at 35-40 teams. We will offer 8u/10u/12u/14u/16u/18u and expect it to fill quickly.
Winternationals has been rescheduled for March 12th-14th at the Rinks in Irvine, with the possibility of the Rinks in Corona as overflow if needed.
Jan 29th-31st – We are heading back to Tucson for a Men’s/Women’s Tournament! The facility has a restaurant/bar and we expect this Pacific Cup Event to be a really fun tournament for the adults that haven’t had an opportunity to play tournament hockey in a long time.
Feb 19th-21st – We originally scheduled to go to Hot Shots in PA and are pushing that back one weekend to Feb 26th-28th due to the facility accidentally double booking our original weekend. We are very excited to get back East and hope this will be an amazing event for all ages, including a Pro Division!
We will continue to monitor the landscape in each state and offer tournaments at facilities where we can do so safely within government guidelines. Hopefully in the upcoming weeks we can put a more concrete schedule out for the rest of 2021.
One thing is certain, we plan on hosting the NARCh FINALS at the Rinks in Irvine on July 9th-18th and we’re getting interest from all over the WORLD for this event! With the continued uncertainties the next few months, we are focused on this tournament being the ultimate goal and our only NARCh FINALS EVENT for 2021!
Thank you for your continued support and patience.
