NARCh Pro Championship Game Highlights!

The 2024 Narch finals featured one of the most exciting games in recent memory. Two loaded teams, the PAMA Labeda Golden Knights and Carshield needed overtime to decide a winner and a Carshield Championship. Coming into 2025 14 teams entered the fray for the pro division, but everyone imagined a rematch between these two squads.

The road wasn't as smooth as expected though with each team facing adversity. The Golden Knights were tied by a young upstart Marvin team in their first round robin game 3-3. The tie was a wake up call as the Knights marched through the remaining RR games bus scores of 8-0 over NCI Phoenix, 9-1 vs Kemistry, and 11-3  against the Phoenix Fleas.

They entered playoffs as the 1 seed and faced the Labeda Freez in the quarterfinal. After a 6-2 win they moved on to the semis against a spry Skittles team. A back and forth game, the Knights scored late to go ahead and win 5-3 punching their ticket in the final.

For Carshield, the road had bumps as well. A convincing 8-0 win vs PGKA was followed by an upset loss to the Champion Wheelers 5-4. Back to back wins against Fusion (7-1) and Kemistry (9-3) led to a number 2 seed for playoffs.

They were off and running dispatching the OC Blades 4-0 and the TCS Envious Wings in the semi final 6-2. The rematch was then set against a Golden Knights team looking to avenge last years heartbreak.

Early penalties spelled doom for Carshield as new Knight Alex Kile scored twice to give them a 2-0 lead. Additional goals by Scott Savage and Travis Noe and an empty netter by John Siemer  along with the steadfast goaltending of Clay Taylor with the shutout was all that was needed to seal the deal.

The Knights avenged last year, took home this years title and exorcised any demons in front of their home town crowd in California. Congrats to the Pama Labeda Golden Knights - the 2025 Narch Pro Champions.
