General Information about the NARCh FINALS, in no specific order.

- A maximum of 3 coaches allowed on the bench. Coaches must be listed on the roster! Nobody else is allowed on the bench. If somebody wants to film the game, they will need to do it behind the glass, not on the bench!
- Make sure the team has matching home and away jerseys! Home is light, away dark.
- Parking is tough to find at times when it’s very busy. Rather than circling the lot forever or parking illegally, we suggest you park at Bill Barber Park. It’s a quick 5-minute walk through the park and over the walking bridge.
- Games can start up to 30-minutes ahead of time. With the exception, of the first two games of the day. If a goalie is late, we will not hold up the game. The team will start with 5-skaters.
- The Rosters are fillable forms. We recommend you type the names of your players and print it out to assure the names are legible. It’s embarrassing for our announcer, and your player or coach if their name is not pronounced properly or missing all together!
- Once you turn in your roster, you cannot get it back to add a player if you forgot a player. Make sure it’s accurate! Rosters must be turned in, along with RHA forms and fees, before the second game. Many players think they have RHA because they may have purchased the weekend coverage at a prior event. The full list of RHA Yearly Members can be found at RHA Member List.
- Acceptable Proof Of Age for youth players that are not on the Current POA List.
- More local programs have started to bring team tents to set up to have a hang-out spot in between games. We understand this, but the tent placement must be approved by NARCh/The Rinks. Do not just throw a tent up without approval or you might be asked to take it down or move it.
- The Skills Competition is always a highlight! You can register at the Merchandise Booth. Make sure you do so at least an hour before the competition takes place. You will get a Skills Competition T-Shirt at the booth when you register. Skills Competition Schedule
- Games can start up to 30-minutes ahead of time. Except for the first two games of the day. If a goalie is late, we will not hold up the game. The team will start with 5-skaters.
- As we write this, LIVEBARN is being installed on the back rink. We are happy that The Rinks have it, but we are not responsible for the service. It's a prescription-based service that we're sure most of you are already used to, since it's now in many of the ice and roller rinks across the country!
- Irvine is such a unique place to have a tournament with good vibes. Kids often skate around the rinks when they’re not playing games. We don’t have a problem with this and understand that kids just want to have fun, and we want them to have fun. Having said that, it gets very crowded in spots. Please tell your players that puck play around heavy traffic areas is not allowed. Some areas are blocked-off, meaning we don't want kids playing in those areas! Have fun, but don’t let your players run wild completely unattended at the facility!
We are very excited to get things going tomorrow morning! It's going to be an amazing NARCh FINALS!
