Women's gold championship goes to Manitoba!
Team Manitoba brings the NARCh cup to the great white north!

The NARCh championship has gone up north. This is the first women's team from the province of Manitoba to win a NARCh championship.

With our gold division semi - finals, The Tour Bordercats would meet the Lady Pama Cyclones. In a matchup that had the Tour Bordercats take it to them and move forward in a 5 - 1 win. Our semi - final would see Team Manitoba also limit the Tour Roadrunners to one goal in a 4 - 1 win.

The Tour Bordercats would jump start the game as they would get the first goal as Stephanie Robertson would score from Caitlin Terry. Two minutes later, Ashley Van Aggelen would score her first of two goals in a span of 1:29. Coincidentally both goals would be assisted by Deena Caplette. With the second period beginning, Deena would pick up her third point of the game as she scored the third goal of the game to give Manitoba a 3 - 1 lead. Assisting her would Van Aggelen. Once again, the buzzer closed in on the Tour Bordercats as with their goalie pulled, they were trying to get the puck deep into the Manitoba zone.

In our bronze medal game, the Lady Pama Cyclones would defeat the Tour Roadrunners 2 - 1 to capture the bronze.
