It all begins again...

Wasn't it just last week that we were in Toronto talking about Winternationals in Phoenix? Didn't it seem like it was yesterday when we were in Phoenix and we were getting excited for the Regional Season and the Finals in Florida? Well, the day we have all been waiting for is finally here. NARCh Finals in Estero, Florida...2007. What a short trip it has been.

After a hectic day at the rink we were ready to go. Doug Jones was the man on banner patrol this year. Last year we had Nick Lutu on it...where is he this year? Hopefully Doug lasts a little longer than Lutu did. The floor was placed at an incredible speed. It was kinda funny to think of the fact that we almost didn't have enough tile for one of the rinks; I said kinda. Everything else seemed to come naturally. The first coach's meeting was held and we were off.

One of the things that is always special to see are the responses of the players when they walk into the facility. Germain Arena is simply awesome. The kids walk in in awe of the size, look, and feel of this place. It is not just the same old rink, it is the best. The player knows when they walk in that they are at The NARCh Finals, not some cheap imitation.

I'm sure you have heard by now, the 2008 NARCh Finals will be in San Jose, California. Silver Creek Sportsplex is a brand new facility that houses Rollin' Ice Roller Hockey. The players will love the fast floors and great boards. The families will love the things to do around the town. Make sure to check out the San Jose booth when you are here, they have lots of information on the surrounding areas and a great DVD on the facility.

Finally, make sure to come by and talk to all of us here. We enjoy the Regional season a ton because of the friends we make. Catching up at the Finals is always a good time. I hope to see a ton of my friends in the hockey world in the upcoming days and weeks.
