It's early. It's cold. It's Niketown.
Too much, too soon
Ok, so it is a good thing to be sold out. It is a good thing to have so much interest in the sport. It is a good thing that everyone is having a great time in Oregon. It is a good thing that coffee exists.

It is a bad thing to leave the rink at midnight and have to be back at 6am and stay sane at the same time. Mmmmmmmm Starbucks. Nick is bringing the nectar of the cracked out gods. Venti triple nonfat cappuccino with a splenda. Lots of jolt, no fat or sugar. What the heck am I rambling about?

So, with the temperature hovering at 50 outside, and 20 below zero inside, we begin the morning. We are realizing very quickly what teams should be in Platinum at the NARCh Finals in San Jose, and which teams should be in Gold and Silver Divisions. I must mention that even with some of the lopsided scores, mostly everyone here is very positive. It's nice to remember that these kids are out here to have a great time, win or lose.

I actually saw (and heard... she was loud), a parent last night from B.C. cheering for the opposing team when they scored. She was boisterous for her kids, but appreciated the good play of the other team. WOW! That is a refreshing change from the norm. I want to be like that (well, maybe not so loud though).

That's all I have for now.

Oh wait, I almost forgot to make my mandatory comment about Ian. Ummmmmm..... I don't have one. Amazing. That just means I have to have 2 for him in my next rambling.

Hasta.
