What a weekend ahead of us...

As many of you know I live in St. Louis. Well, this is the first of my two "home" Regionals this year. During the weekend we will have games going at both All American and Midwest Sport Hockey. This means it will be a hectic weekend for all the players, coaches, and parents...oh yeah, for me as well. I will be jumping from rink to rink trying to catch the buzz of this Regional. It should be a blast!
This weekend will be the introduction of Team Tour out of the Omni Sportsplex to NARCh. Team Tour is spearheaded by Jp Beilsten and Kenny Daleo. These guys have given another outlet for roller hockey players in our area. St. Louis already has two super strong organizations in the Tour Blast and Tour Cobras. It seems like the real winner is Tour Hockey. Good luck to all three organizations this weekend.
One of the perks about having a Regional in your own backyard is the ability to sleep in your own bed. I have two awesome boys and an even better wife to come home to this weekend. Nothing like giving the family a kiss before heading to a few hours of rest. It is much better then seeing Doug Jones in the bed to my left. Haha. But in all seriousness, it is great to be home and have a big Regional to take up my weekend.
