Sunday updates

As Sunday morning comes, we see parents with their travel mugs in hand, younger siblings in tow to watch the games in action. Last night in the men's division we saw some exciting action as the New Jersey Assault deadlocked the DC Bullets in a 5 - 5 game.

This morning, we saw our atom division offer up some as close as you get hockey, with the Roadrunner's and Mav's knotting the score 4 - 4. Later today, the Roadrunners '99 take on the Mav's in playoff hockey. The team who wins will meet the Roadrunner's '99 Black team.

In peewee playoff action, the Mavericks, Cougars and Gladiators white all have won their opening playoff games. They have moved to this afternoon and the matchups will surely bring excitement.

This morning the atoms got a kick out of NARCh trivia. All six teams had a chance at two trivia questions to win NARCh t - shirts. The best contest was with the Tour Roadrunners. When asked "who is the head coach of the Roadrunners?", the first player raised his hand and then said " I don't know, but my dad likes him!"...you have to love the atoms.

Bantam playoff action will be underway soon as The Reapers match up with the Cougars B, the Cougars A meet the colorful Salsa, who by the way, head coach Rob Smith has shorn his locks. The Salsa as always brings a full bench and their fans to the games.

Our Bantam platinum match up features the Gladiators and the Rattlers, looking for the winner to match up with Black Ice '92.

Midget action is underway as we speak and we await to see who goes to the finals.

as the action continues in Broomall, stay tuned to NARCh the world's greatest roller hockey.
