Pro anticipation...

As the pro division playoffs began, we saw a great battle between two solid teams as the Revision Buffalo Wings edged the Savage Wolves 4 - 3, to advance to the semi - final game with the undefeated Pama Cyclones this afternoon. I give full credit to the Wolves, a team who have worked their way up the ladder of success in the pro division. Regardless of the fact that the team didn't advance, they're my pick for most improved.
So, we're down to the final four. This afternoon's matchups Pama, the #1 seed, meet the Wings and the #2 seed, the Tour Mudcats meet the Mission Labeda Snipers.
In looking at the teams playing, it's fair to say that Pama is on the roll of playing some of their best pro hockey yet in the division. That's going to be a challenge for the winner of the Mudcats/Sniper semi final. The Cats and the Snipers both have lineups that will make their game difficult to decide who the winner will be. The Wings, have shown they too, have improved and battled hard to get where they are. The addition of Pat Lee upfront has added more scoring and depth. However, the edge goes to Pama as they have more experience, a deeper bench and are defeating whomever is in their path.
If you have time today to hit Skatesafe, stop by and watch the pro games and the playoffs in all age divisions, you won't be disappointed.
Happy Valentines' day to my sweetheart, Dawn
