Mid-Way Point

We’re getting close to being half way through this one. In squirt the Cougars and East Coast Impact will battle it out with Roadrunners 97 Black waiting as the #1 seed to play the winner for the squirt title. We will have a shootout in the morning in peewee to determine seeding, as the Mission Black Ice and Gladiators both scored 22 goals and let 4 in and are yet to lose. Mission Black Ice is also walked through the bantam division so far, only letting in 1 goal through three wins. Tour Excitement was the only team to score on them, and they grabbed the #2 seed.

The stage is set for Pro Playoffs tomorrow. 5 teams are advancing and any team is capable of winning the title. The Savage Wolves and Revision Buffalo Wings will play first, with the winner advancing to play the #1 Seed Pama Cyclones. The #2 vs #3 game will pair up the Tour Mudcats and Mission Labeda Snipers. Not to jinx them, but the Pama Cyclones are on a pretty incredible run in 2010 and are yet to lose a game. They are firing on all cylinders, but this is hockey and we know that momentum is huge and games can turn quickly, so tomorrow should be very exciting.

Midgets, Juniors, Men’s Platinum, and 35’s are just getting underway.

We’ll have complete recaps tomorrow as the divisions with championships wrap up.

Next time I come here, I’m bringing thermals!
