35 & Over Not So Old, Just Try Us.
35 & Over, Old, No! Just Smart
| Hey for all you young NARCh players out there, I would like to say wait till you get to the 35 & Over Division.
I hear it from coaches, parents and even fellow players, "what are you doing, you're going to get hurt, you're too old to play this game, leave it to the kids".
Well all I have to say is, put your mouth where your feet are or shut up.
You know we were all young once and as a former youth player, now coach why should the kids have all the fun.
NARCh is not just for the kids, because if it was we would not have retired NHL pros playing in the 35 & over div. and many other current players from the NARCh Pro Div. coming over to compete.
Yes, I do understand that it is not as fast or as rough as the younger or pro div. but let me be perfectly clear with all of you who don't believe in the 35 & over division.
1. We can check and when we do, we do it with meaning behind it.
2. We can skate hard, and when we do, usually that some what tougher, better, younger skater can not handle the size of most of us.
3. We play alot smarter than ANY of the younger/pro division by letting the puck do all the work,"WHY"! mainly because we don't have the endurance that the other divisions have so we use out heads not our EGO's.
4. Last but not least, we are there because we LOVE the game and NARCh being the best out there offers the 35 and over players a chance to get away from all the BS we have to deal with in day to day life.
Now if you're wondering if any of the 35ers can really play the game of hockey, come out and watch what years of playing this wonderful game has done to the 35ers.
You may be surprised.
I personally am bringing my 35 & over team to Winternationals and I am inviting anyone to come watch us play the game, we all as players call HOCKEY.
