Ontario Tour Firewheels Ready For Florida
Division One Team adds top players for a strong line-up at the years NARCh Finals.
| Coming off a recent tournament victory in the Senior Division of the Canadian Qualifier at York University, The Ontario Tour Firewheels Division One Roller Hockey Team have assembled a talented deep line-up for this years NARCh Finals in Estero, Florida.
The team will feature top roller hockey players from Southern Ontario and Michigan. Mike Burgoyne and Chad Martin who is currently playing for Team Canada in the World Roller Hockey Championships in the Czech Republic will lead the team.
Dante Damani, a product of the Detroit Mission Stars and former standout at Michigan State University will add scoring power with his offensive talents. The squad just gets deeper as Greg Kelly and Rob Leggat who are also representing Canada at the World’s will add talent and experience. Brad Zancanaro, who has toiled in the past for Team Nexed Detroit will bring his talents from the Boston University Division One Ice Hockey Team while NARCh Veterans Curtis Edgcumbe, Mike Dawson, Derek Myke and Brent Carpenter will take care of the defensive responsibilities.
In net the Firewheels have Steve McFarlene in place for NARCh while Garret Bailey of the Williamsburg Warriors in the MLRH will give the Firewheels a solid goaltending duo.
The Ontario Tour Firewheels look forward to making some noise at NARCh this year in the Division One category.
