Day 13, Early Update
Win or go home @ NARCh
Upsets in 3 of the 4 games played so far as NARCh reaches its last day.

Only the OC Blades Black team has
avoided losing so far on Thursday.
The Tour Powerhouse weren't able
to keep them under the 4 goals we
talked about last night and fell in a
close 5-3 battle.

#2 Anaheim Mission Bulldogs 89
met up with #3 St. Louis Tour Blast
89's in the second semifinal. The
Blast continue to improve each game
and have met teams they match up
with well throughout the tournament.
AMB 89 played strong, but just
couldn't get on the scoreboard, and
the Blast went on to win 2-0.

The Bantam Semifinals saw a wide
open field as #3 Honeybaked 85 and
#4 Hyper Metro Storm were the only
teams from the top 6 to advance to
the semifinals. #8 Mission Empire
Snipers and #7 Anaheim Mission
Bulldogs 86 both advanced with
upset wins yesterday.

The first game, Honeybaked vs
Mission Empire Snipers had the
makings of a great duel between two
established teams. Andrew Olivieri
continued to make NARCh Bantams
his own personal highlight film as he
scored 4 goals and the Snipers
advanced to the Final with a 7-3 win.

Hyper Metro Storm, who although
they were a #4 seed, were the
favorites of many throughout the
tournament. Unfortunately for them,
AMB 86 didn't face them with any fear
or trepidation and came out onto the
rink full of confidence after
yesterday's win over their own 85's
and suprised another higher seeded
team, as they cruised to an 8-3 win.

The Final, to be played at 2:40pm, is
a toss-up. Both teams are playing
fearlessly and have done whatever it
takes to win the past 2 games. Tim
McManus and his 8 titles give the
Snipers a small edge, although they
will likely need to find a second
scoring threat.

The Mite Final is currently being
played and should be wrapping up
soon....
