NARCh Skills – Important Info!

The Skills Competition is one of the highlights of the NARCh FINALS. It’s a nice break in the competitive action where kids can come out and show their stuff in a loose, fun environment and interact with other players from other teams. The Skills Info went out in the confirmation packet that the team managers receive in the mail.
We typically allow 4 players per team to compete in the skills competition: 1 goalie to compete in the goalie competition, 2 snipers, and 1 fastest skater. We’ve gotten a lot of requests from teams asking if they can add more players than the 4, since coaches have a hard time excluding players that want to compete.
We’ve decided to open it up for two more players per team for a total of 6 players per team. The cost is still $25 per player and every player gets a Skills T-Shirt for competing. In addition, the winners will receive individual plaques and custom NARCh Skills jerseys designed by Ace.
Coaches can register their players for the skills competition at the NARCh Finals Merchandise booth at the event. Please do not call the office to try to register for skills. More information about the skills will also be discussed in the coaches meetings.
We’re also proud to announce that after a 10-year hiatus we’re bringing back the NARCh Pro Skills Competition. This is sure to be one of the highlights of the event. With 14 teams competing in Pro, everyone one who’s anyone in the sport will be playing in the division and hopefully also in the skills competition. Get your video cameras ready for this one!
On a different note, we’re working hard on the FINALS Schedule and hope to release it on Sunday Night or Monday at the latest. This is typically when it’s released every year and we appreciate your patience in the matter.
